Bring Table Talk to the New Decade?

Just as Salon has brought about a fresh look and usage with the 10th anniversary site redesign, is it not time to bring Table Talk into the modern era by using a more robust, easier to use BBS (bulletin board system) set-up. Yes, it will bring screaming fits to those used to the old way. But imagine the possibilities of real message threading and topic organization?

In one way, the new Letters to the Editor is a boon for immediacy of reponses (and the Editors Choice a way to sort through the dross). But to dynamic give-and-take, nothing beats a BBS.

Vinca is one hell of a humorist

Whoever she is, she is one of the wits who has made Salon Table Talk larger than life for years. I'm in awe.

Still funny

I've read that post a few times over the last couple years (I had it saved in a text file on my hard drive for awhile) and I still wind up giggling uncontrollably every time.

An excellent choice to kick off TT's 10th birthday. Perhaps "Dogs in Elk" for an encore?

Way too funny!

Vinca, you always crack me up, but this one takes the cake!
