How photos support your own "reality"

Why do 9/11 deniers see an alternative story in pictures of the attacks? Because we all interpret images according to our biases.

    @ paul

Thank you for the polite and well reasoned response. The attack on 911 will go down in history, if there is one, as one of the most seminal events of the last 100 years. And as such a new investigation is demanded. Discussion, is required. Both sides must be heard, not ridiculed and attacked, that is not the way to the truth, whatever it is.

I don't "know" what happened that day. I will admit that. There are many problems with alternative explanations for the events of that day. I know that very well.

Our problem is that the investigation was, I think we can both agree, inadequate. Facts, are thin on the ground, and the WTC steel was sent to China.

As for "our" meaning the "truthers'" investigation, we are hampered, almost crippled by our inability to suponea, to read classified material (and everything is now classified), or to examine other evidence in a professional effective manner.

Having said that though, there are so many problems and indeed physical impossibilities in the official version, that I simply cannot believe it.

And no, a false flag attack is orders of magnitude more difficult than lowering taxes, but he, along with his people, do run America, which I am sure is a little complicated. And they have been brilliant, absolutely brilliant, at shutting down the constitution, the apparatus of government, and controlling the press and the debate. I think that they were superb at getting their mission accomplished. They got Afghanistan, they got Iraq, and yes, it was a bit more than they could chew, but they are still there, the bases are built, and the oil is flowing. Bush has also succeeded in making himself a virtual dictator, (see nspd 51, the "unitary executive" an the signing statement inter alia)

The PATRIOT Act, a 1000 page piece of legislation, was tabled about a month after the attacks. That's mighty fast law writing. They were ready. They knew.

All they needed was a "new Pearl harbor" and they got that. LIHOP or MIHOP, for me that is about the sole remaining question.
