Once and for all, proof that Macs are cheaper than PCs

Let's put to rest the myth that an Apple computer will set you back more than a Windows PC. In fact, it'll cost you less.

Macs will always cost more but, they are worth it.

Your blog article is quite a bit flawed. By paying more money you can get a less capable computer in the Mac.

The small saving is offset by the fact that even on the mac 512mb of ram simply isn't enough. You will need to upgrade. The low end models, imac and mac mini, are not always easy to service. Also you will have to pay a significant price premium to keep up to date with the Mac OS. There seems to be a new one each year or so and it costs around $100.

Macs cost more the total cost of ownership is simply greater in dollar terms unless you sell it.

The mac is made to be stylish and easy. The BMW is the perfect example. They come with a bumper to bumper warranty that covers all items and except tires. You bring you car to the dealer and it is taken care of no question no bill.

You pay extra for the design of the OS, style of the computer, ease of use, streamlined service centers and stores. You will always know where to turn for Mac help. You know when you computer is to old because apple will tell you by not including your computer on it's newest os support list.

The mac is more expensive but apple provides service for the extra cost that is unmatched by any other company at any other price.
