Hi, LJ Wolf. I get my ebooks from eReader.com, which is owned by Fictionwise.com, another source for eBooks that work with eReader on various platforms including Palm, Blackberry, Nokia and iPhone. Have a good read! -JH
Unfortunately, the update only works on the newest version. So if you bought your reader more than 9 months ago, too bad! This is why you should never buy a dedicated reader, whether it's Sony, Kindle or whoever. I made that mistake and now I'm stuck with a $300 paperweight once Sony inevitably shuts down their store (see Yahoo, Sony's own music store ...).
