No one wants to read your blog, because your arguments aren't sound and your blog probably sucks even worse than your boring, asinine repeated comments. If you want to make excessive comments and cause a clownish disturbance here, you deserve to be tased. Post your address.

disgusting
the kid was overreacting, had devised a publicity stunt...yadda yadda yadda...at least someone FINALLY overreacts over the 2004 election...we need a little more overreacting in this country...changes are coming, one way or the other...this is a basic example of what can and will be if people don't climb out of their SUVs and emerge from the platonian caves we call houses and turn off the shadows on the wall that we call tv...get pissed...you should...your government has been hijacked...

Real Issues??? I would consider the irreverent and apathetic treatment of just one vote to be a real and relevant issue, not to mention the pluthera of discredited votes from the 2004 election. So, yes, when John Kerry so readily and amicably concedes in 2004, questions should be asked. The disturbing aspect is that such a challenge receives the public attention 3 years later, and not because of the atrocities that your "freely" elected politicians were, are, and will commit, but because some angry, politically motivated college kid was tasered.
Real Issues...Like Hillary meeting with Rupert Murdoch??? Like the media repression of Ron Paul??? Like the great Petraeus solution that the media so ardently forces down our throats. The Real Issue is that no one stands up anymore. No one gets angry. No one shouts, screams, demands answers, and holds PUBLIC SERVANTS and the media accountable.
This clip, staged or not, is the real issue.

Why is Buck Mulligan's last post allowed to remain?
It's a threat and an asininity hardly worthy of his namesake.

"Tortured"?!
Dumbshit kid gets an ouchie = torture?
Thanks for trivializing the term, folks.

So what was Kerry's answer to the questions
This is the disparage the victim routine which used to be very commonly done to rape victims in the days when I was a college student (early 1970's) The media can't get away with that anymore but apparently then can do it if its a political thing.
And y'all should watch the NBC 6 version of the incident and see what's there not what you want to see and you will see a student who starts out politely thanking the Senator and is then touched by the cops while asking a series of important questions.
If you time how long Meyer spoke minus the interruption from the female cop that occurs while Meyer is setting up his very cogent questions he speaks for a total of ONE MINUTE AND SIXTEEN SECONDS.
His questions might have been more succinctly phrased: Why didn't you contest the results of the election because there was massive voter fraud and since you probably won? Did you really want to be President? If you find fault with Bush's actions why not seek impeachment? And were the two of you Bush and Kerry secret society brothers (i.e.BFFs)?
So Kerry (from whom I handed out literature door to door in crappy November weather in Wisconsin) kept on yammering while the kid is strongarmed and tasered by Kampus Kops armed with TASERS AND GUNS (BTW I don't recall Kampus Kops in the early 1970's being armed.)
But what were Kerry's answers?

GET TASERED
I can't wait for the event where ALL the posters on ALL the blogs who say that the process of being tased that Andrew Meyer under went was not really anything much , not painful, just like a stun gun, not the highest power level LINE UP AND GET TASED THEMSELVES. And no yelling out will be allowed! "

Point is jilseng4
Because of thie clowns antics, these very issues will be trivialized, swept under the rug and henceforth associated with a nut case, seeking attention.
You mean to tell me you think this guy was sincere?
I don't, I think he's a big phony baloney, and it is an embarrassment.
Heh, BTW guys, a couple days back the Republicans voted down inspecting the voting machines in Ohio.
Hmmmm, now ain't it a shame that that didn't make the headlines instead of another hysterical moment in amerika.

Dear Buck
As a rule of thumb, when someone can't argue constructively or tolerate a difference of opinion, ignorant people for example, they will resort to personnal attacks.
What we know about these kinds of people through their verbal abuse is that they usually have low self esteem, bad communication skills, and huge amounts of misdirected anger. One of the frightening aspects, or characterizations of this type of person is that their volitility is unpredictable.
We take for granted the common association between them and dictatorial figureheads, and this is no anomoly, this is a well accepted observation of their behaviour.
Dealing with this type of personality is difficult, especially for women, but we have to remember that degradation and humiliation are their cornerstones, and the only way for them to achieve an excuse for their existance.
Meanwhile there Buck old boy, why don't you join Ann Coulter
on the Ann Coulter Invitational, I'd be glad to take you, too. the link is below.

There are better people to defend
The cops probably overreacted. But in the end he was tased. The kid wasn't shot. He wasn't beaten with night sticks. Yeah tasing hurts. While I've never been tased, I have been elecotrucated with stage lightning equipment, and damn it hurts. But you know what I rather have than then suffer from a gun shot wound or take a beating.
Look I don't like cops, and are generally on a power trip, but way too many people are overreacting. Cops should react. Ideally they react before something happens. I mean if he wasn't just some clown looking for attention, and the cops could only reacted after he took out a gun and shot someone would that be right?
If I'm in crowd and some person is acting crazy, I hope the cops get that person in control, and not just wait til it's too late.
