Does Blockbuster edit its movies?

Also: Is it really so bad that Netflix won't let you take your ratings with you?

    The (not so) Bad Lieutenant

I'm sorry I can't go through all the comments to see if someone mentioned it already, but Blockbuster did force an R rated cut of The Bad Lieutenant. At this time their market dominance was almost unrivaled, and the only alternative you had was to buy the movie on VHS via mailorder for about $35, this was pre cheap DVD days. Blockbuster acted like a bunch of right bastards when it owned the market then, and there is no reason to suspect they won't do the same again. That's why I love Netflix, and would never even consider switching for anything.
