the Safari Web browser -- that security researchers haven't found *too safe*.
The link from the words "too safe" is dead.
The "threat" reported by the Times wasn't discovered because hackers have been taking over people's iPhones. The security team that found the exploit did so because that's their job. But I guess if the headline simply said "Researchers find iPhone security hole" you'd get less click-throughs. Geez Farhad, don't forget to turn off your phone's bluetooth, someone could gain access to your Nigerian lottery riches.
Oh come on, a "dangerous iPhone flaw" would be one that causes physical harm, like maybe it explodes when held to your ear or it emits weird ball-shrinking radiation.
A security hole is just that. If I wanted sensationalist crap I wouldn't be a subscriber.
Who do you have to know to fix Safari if you don't have an iPhone?
it's an Apple - or is this a sneaky Microsoft plot...
hah
