where all the fossil fuel went during our lifetimes. It sure feels good to know that we are being such good stewards and investing the energy resources of millions of years in such a wise fashion.
Read the link. Seems to me Chris Blattman (who?) doesn't know a thing about business. The post doesn't say much about the competency of HTWW, either. Truth is, some entrepreneurs are at work within the Chinese military.
Per Mr Blattman, Monrovia is awash in US apples purchased by the Chinese military to feed its troops. Apparently, some entrepreneurial Chinese troops would rather make a few bucks and sells them.
In some zany corner of Blattman's mind this is globalization gone terribly, terribly awry. Because the Chinese govt bought too many fucking apples.
And the purse? Who knows. Blattman provides few useful details. Hippie please.
They don't actually 'make' jack shit anything. That's why. Have you ever been to Africa Mr. Leonard? If you were an Ugandan you would be THRILLED to be a homeless bum on the streets of NY.
I would be THRILLED to be a homeless bum on the streets of NY and I am not even a Ugandan
Got any spare change?.
If the purse wasn't made in China, it was probably made in Uganda, or at least in East Africa. They put stickers like that on many of their products; they think it makes people think that the product will be of higher quality. I personally have seen crafts-workers putting "Made in USA" stickers on the bottom of vases they had just made.
