I want my samurai Obama

How can the president best tackle the financial crisis? With a gleaming katana blade, of course!

If nothing else

Obama's fu is strong.... and apparently he also wields the Force. :-)

Cool

That's way better than the Obama car air freshener I saw yesterday. Judging by the massive number of (pretty creative) vendors out and about during the inauguration, Obama has already helped the economy. At least for DC!

It's the First Action Figure Family!

Sasha and Malia have Ty Girlz dolls. Barack has a samurai sword and lightsaber-wielding action figure. Michelle has to make due with a paper doll for now (http://z.hubpages.com/u/536990_f260.jpg), but I'm sure that a bunch of new First Lady dolls are in the works.

the modern Miyamoto Musashi

Miyamoto Musashi was a man of humble beginnings, who became a master of the two sword technique. He was also an author, poet and painter. Very appropriate symbol for our President.

Bummer

The set doesn't come with any of the weapons, just the boring microphone, stool, flag, and lectern. Weapons are sold separately. Oh, and not to be nit-picky, but he is only wielding one katana in the photo. The short sword is called a wakizashi.
