Communism as applied everywhere was/is either just another dictatorship or a specific kind of mean socialism. To equate all of capitalism with that specific corner of socialism is laughable. The guy has some pretty obvious biases. Now if he had said Reagan/Thatcher capitalism, he might be closer, but not much.

Right before the .com bubble burst in 2000 we were hearing that it was the end of history and for an entirely different reason. The only people who buy into the "end of history" meme are those who, because they refuse to learn from history, are doomed ot repeat it. History does not begin nor does it end. It is merely reinturpreted, and sometimes rewritten, by those currently, and I might ad temporarily, in power.
