Sex, drugs, oil, and an ethics award

Earlier this week, the Department of Interior received a commendation for promoting a "stronger ethical culture"

Heck of a Job

I'm sure glad the "grownups" are in charge.

I'm sure that guide was very popular and got a lot of use

The laminated covers are great for setting up lines of coke, and you can tear out the pages and roll them up for snorting.

Interior ethics

They deserved the award. They run the most ethical department of the Bush Administration.

What? How about the Dept. of Justice? Defense? Veterans? Homeland Security? State? EPA? HHS?

the etiquette of corruption

When my oil company lobbyist blew me, I noticed they still had some jism in their hair as we left the conference room. What is the proper way to point this out?

Must I invite the person delivering a briefcase of cash to join my colleagues and I , if he delivers it during lunch?

My oil company lobbyist frequently arrives late to our appt., even though I have made clear my Viagra is useless after 45 minutes. How can I handle this firmly without seeming anxious?

Because of my bad knees I am unable to achieve Position No. 3 as illustrated on our laminated ethics handout. I have asked Human Resources to provide me with special equipment to cover my disabilty , but they say it is up to me to provide. I think this is unfair as other employees are already several times ahead on Position No.3 . Should I go up the ladder on this, or just buy my own equipment and have the company reimburse me?

I put my unmarked hundreds in the company freezer til I was able to get a larger suitcase. When I came back it was gone- I'm sure my co workers took it . My hotpockets are missing too. What is the best way to ensure my co workers just unfreeze their own money and leave mine alone? ( BTW It was clearly labeled)

All I can do is laugh...

Perhaps the past 8 years have burnt-out my sense of outrage, but all I can do is laugh at this one.

It's a perfect Dilbert-ian example of the government (or any large bureaucratic organization) giving excessive praise for the little banal things, while completely ignoring the 'elephant in the room'.

the obvious choice

After Clear Skies, Healthy Forests, and recent recipients of the Presidential Medal of Honor, was there any question about what behaviors should justify ethical commendations?

Sex, drugs, oil and an ethics award

Well, you people are not in on the dirty dealin in the DCF-Rowlandgate crimes. They were partying and screwing for a "national string of juvenile prisons enterprise."

Then one of the DCF-Rowlandgate gang wrote a fake whistleblower letter, as a lawyer, to get her boss fired... IN THE ETHICS COMMISSION!!

LOL.

Corrupticut still wins.

I am powerfully reminded

That Enron, that poster child for the amoral and unethical, had a 65 page long code of conduct. Apparently, all you have to do is write it down.

Cocaine and blow-jobs: not much of difference there.

Drill baby, DRILL!!!

One thing seems ever so consistent about right-wingers: how consistently inconsistent and hypocritical they really are.
