Walter_Map is having a bad day...
Go for a goddamn walk and stop foaming at the mouth.
Disclaimer: I voted for and caucused for Obama in my delegate-rich home state.
Hillary sucks as a candidate. She is too dirty with money and favors owed to be of any use. Even her comeback kid beltway outsider husband crapped in the bed when he had his chance. How Liberal was welfare reform? How about the telecom act of 1996?
Nancy Pelosi won't even consider impeaching any of these wanton lawless jerks for their high crimes against our once great nation.
Hairy Reid says Joe Lie-berman is a good Dem. Well if that's true then Dems must just not be very good. Lieberman votes with the Dems though on every issue of little consequence, so you know he can keep his committee chair.
They suck. The democratic party doesn't deserve about 80% of the votes that are reluctantly cast for them.
Now Obama? His policies are mostly fluff. They're ill informed and they're in many cases quasi-republican too.
What the hell do you expect out of a Democrat?
To my mind the goosestepping Hillary or else crowd are only slightly more distasteful than the blinkered Obama-bots.
I have an easier time believing Kucinich saw a space alien when he was smoking that North Slope Trip Weed on Shirley MacLaine's back porch than I do believing Obama will usher in some kind of new era of politics, but hey, I guess that's the cynicism of the old style pre-Obama mentality rearing its ugly head.
Gas tax is a stupid idea, but Krugman is correct that it doesn't amount to very much in any event.

Andrew, let me untangle this for you....
"Hillary is most vunerable on this front"....
now go back a paragraph or so... "They really
want Hillary to lose, and Obama to win."
Same old cause and effect. But if we DO put
aside the weekly trivia that for you defines the
campaign, you have to face the fact that Hillary
Clinton has sold herself to a lot of Americans as
a responsable, no nonsense, practical leader who
won't worry about the stupid things these people
have to say when campaigning.
Has She sold herself to enough of them? We
shall see...

Phoenix Woman
the Blue Dogs, her allies
We should find it rather telling that Republicans who have 'switched parties' have been switching to support Hillary, and not Obama.
Don't you find it remarkable that feminists would so ardently support Hillary? A feminist, even a Republican feminist, wouldn’t serve on the Wal-Mart Board of Directors. Wal-Mart is not only anti-worker and anti-union, but it is anti-woman. Two thirds of the Wal-Mart employees are women, ten percent are managers. A gender bias class action suit against Wal-Mart on behalf of one million women is currently pending.
I happen to think it would be unseemly to have two Republicans running against each other come November.
But that's just me.

Go for a goddamn walk and stop foaming at the mouth.
Presenting a cogent argument that cannot be refuted - you didn't even try - hardly constitutes 'foaming at the mouth'. I perceive you to be a bitter loser, loser.
Thanks for conceding the debate.

Hillary vs the elitists
Gotta love it when former First Lady, straight to the Senate as first elected office, regular attendee of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland (great skiing!) Hillary Clinton can throw out the word "elitist" to deride all of those pointy-headed economists who probably have degrees from some elitist Ivy league school like Yale.

Bomb, Bomb, Iran @Hepstyle
Hillary's position on Iran tells me she and John can sing a duet. Perhaps you remember the dustup with Feingold over soft money? The Clintons are political opportunists, they will run under any flag that will get them elected. The only thing I guarantee you she will roll back is her campaign promises.
The real election is CA4, Pelosi's district. Bill is on the stump promising a repeat of the go-go 90's, but most private economists agree that it will never happen. Most of them lay a great deal of the blame at Clintons tenure, but Hillary deserves to be taken seriously as a candidate in her own right, but that's not what we are getting is it?

You dismissed everything I said and focused on one sentence, and then you threw a personal insult in. I'm not worried about what you think of me. Your lack of intellectual integrity is obvious. Like I said, who do YOU serve?

You dismissed everything I said and focused on one sentence
Everything else was dismissable. But that's your problem, not mine.
and then you threw a personal insult in.
Hit a nerve, did I?
Your lack of intellectual integrity is obvious.
I'm not the one ignoring the evidence.
Have you looked at Hillary's voting record yet? Apparently not.
Have you looked at the documents relating her relationships with the power brokers of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderberg Group? Why no, of course not.
But then, as you say "Of course none of them will convince me", so why bother?
So much for 'intellectual integrity', right dear?

Iran
People have been blowing Clinton's Iran comments out of proportion for weeks. Of course she totally blew it on that question. But the fact of the matter is that the question iteself which prompted Clintons's at best wacky and at worst horrific answer was one of those "gotcha" questions that we as democrats should be throwing out anyway, regardless of who was asked and how they answered.
The fact of the matter is, Iran would be idiots to launch a nuclear attack on Israel. Israel has nukes too. Israel has a most formiddable military. And if anyone nuked anyone in that region, clearly no one would emerge a winner because you can't nuke your enemy in the middle east without fucking up your friends in the process.
It was a stupid question, and while Clinton went a little on the jingoistic side with her answer, nobody talks about how OBAMA answered that question. "We would retaliate". Obama failed to point out the idiocy of the question too, but he left his answer just ambiguous enough that no one cared. It was Hillary's strong language which caught the attention of the hatchet media. Meanwhile no one botherd asking Obama HOW we would retaliate. He could have been hit hard for the ambiguity of his answer, but instead everyone focused on Hillary. Hell, you should be thanking her. Iran is Hillary's Rev. Wright, and all those Obama fans who saw through the pettiness of the wright debacle are now playing up this Iran thing like it's somehow different. Get over yourselves, hypocrites.
Obama 08. We can say it without acting like total douchbags. And yeah, time for you to get over the fact that some of us democrats are going to remain loyal to our party regardless of what you think of us for it.
