The new Levis

Hey Andy,

I viewed both of the clips and have some thoughts. On the Ballywood rock video; it was well done and glitzy. But will this foray into pop do anything to change the laws and mores of the sub-continent? It wasn't that long ago that an American actor had to cut and run after kissing a Ballywood actress, leaving her to be pilloried by the local judiciary. That maybe more of a comment on American men than the outdated law. But it is just an observation.

Concerning the animated short. I wonder if there isn't grounds for intellectual infringement actions. That puppet seemed to exhibit some dance moves that are more than just reminiscent of Napoleon Dynamites' moves at the pep rally.

One last thing, Yeeeah Boobies!

A Little Stevie Influence also

For the Japanese disco folk music, you forgot to mention that the melody is Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" from his Innervisions CD. Talk about globalization!!

Here's Steve's version if you care to compare:

has me still laughing long after I watched the clip.

Must be a slow day.
