Focus, People, Focus!

While George W. Bush squanders America's cash on an unjustified war, tax-breaks for his patrons and sweetheart giveaways to his pals, America's money for research and development of alternate energy sources evaporates. It's no wonder that we are in decline and becoming totally irrelevant.

I half expect that, by 2020, the phones at the White House will be answered by a guy named Rajiv in Mumbai, India.

Looks like Suntech is just picking the leftovers of the Great Desindustrialization under the form of fairly cheap and qualified labor, while the indigenous financial class is busy wasting capital in the real estate casino (or now, more exactly, trying to sort out the mess).
