ISRAEL LOBBY SMASHER
OY VEY ! This article is a perfect example of how the PRO iSRAEL LOBBY WORKS, you ignore anyone who goes against israeli interests(RON PAUL) and slander them in the your media.
But we Americans are watching and each day are becoming more aware of how the israel lobby works, yes we dont have money to buy media but we have numbers and numbers are real POWER. WE ARE TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER. We are tired of the zionist media spoonfeeding us our information. We are circumventing your domination over information with the use of the internet. We have grown tired of you. Enough is enough. I hope Ron Paul gets elected so we American tax payers can stop being raped by israel to the tune of 4.5 billion yearly. ISRAEL NEEDS TO GET A JOB. American soldiers should not be dying for israel. israel will fight their arab enemies down to the last American soldier. We will someday be free from your media manipulation. The American mind is israeli occupied territory.
PRINT THAT YA MAMZERS !

Nice try!
As a Ron Paul supporter I would like to congratulate the campaigns of Rude Fooliani, Dimwit Robbingme and Hil(duh)ry.
You made a nice try to slander Dr. Ron Paul. Don't worry, we understand that Dr. Ron Paul makes all of you look like the idiots you are. You're sensitive about that, aren't you?
We understand that you're trying your hardest to appear like you have a slight understanding of the Constitution of the United States.
You're trying very hard to find something wrong with Ron Paul and you just can't. We know you're frustrated.
Don't fret. Soon, Ron Paul will be President of the United States and you won't have to worry about all those private interests that have given you millions of dollars because they won't wield that power anymore.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who didn't vote for the Iraq War and who pledges to bring our troops home immediately. If anyone else wins the presidency, then maybe you (or your children) could go to war for us.
Oh, that reminds me...
Are Guiliani's kids in Iraq?
Are Mitt Romney's kids in Iraq?
Are any pro-war candidates encouraging their children to risk their lives in Iraq? NO???? Hmmm.....That's odd.

Don't see the point
He may share many of the beliefs of the religious right, but he's no Christofascist, since he does not believe the federal government can or should enforce them. With that said, I would feel terrible for people stuck in the more backward states (like mine, right now) should this sort of power-devolution occur.
I've argued this before, mostly against similarly ill-thought out libertarian schemes, that the boot of an FBI agent doesn't feel any better or worse than the boot of your local Sheriff or whatever cockamamie private security scheme you've cooked up. Power devolution MAY grant some victories, but as anyone whose ever seen how quickly nationalist and seperatist movements can go awry and setup a new native oligarchy, its not anything anyone should be holding hope out for.
He's also completely opposed to neoliberalism. When he says "free market," he means it, and it ought to be a lot easier to build support for taking the rich off of welfare than the poor.
I'm not an especially huge fan of the kind of "Free market" he, and other big L libertarians, are a fan. Again, like above, theres not a good reason to believe that unfettered capitalist markets would do anything but set up a new way of reinforcing the hierarchy and lack of equality we see now. Hell, it might actually make it WORSE.
I just don't see the reason for the hype. This is the same stuff the Libertarian Party has been peddling, without success, for the past 20 to 30 years. And its still as cock-eyed as its always been. I don't see his slightly more conservative spin on it making it more acceptable or beneficial.

Yikes, people, please! Call off the dogs!
I understand the sentiment, but please, let's dig a bit deeper.
This article is a SATIRICAL look at "botting" digs. Everything posted here, save mine and one other, COMPLETELY MISSED THE POINT of this article.
I'm not sure if Salon overestimated their readership or if they only wanted hits, but you, the posters, are only playing into the hands of those that would dismiss us as "bots".
Thank you, Salon, for your biting commentary on the "botting" issue. I'm sorry that most of my fellows didn't get the joke.

There is no need to fear the Libertarian - and here's why.
41 year old Ron Paul Spam Bot checking in.
Folks, Ron Paul believes in the Constitution, and he's sworn to uphold it, regardless of his own political leanings. Maybe reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution will help ease your anxiety.
This republic is supposed to be governed by the people, for the people. It's a bottom-up style of governing. Folks, YOU own this country, not the US version of "Royalty" and not the White House . . . for now, that is. If we're not vigilant and do something NOW the corporate elite (which controls the White House) will rip our sovereignty out of our hands, by force if necessary.
We need to kick the bums out before it's too late. The Democrats do not deserve our loyalty because they've betrayed us. The Republican Party has been infiltrated by neocons. NEITHER the Democrats nor Republicans are representing the will of the PEOPLE the way they're supposed to.
If WE THE PEOPLE want to get rid of the IRS we can do it. It only takes a substantial majority of the people agreeing to this. The amendment that established the income tax was never properly ratified anyway.
If WE THE PEOPLE want socialized medicine we can make it happen, regardless of what Ron Paul thinks about it. Congress may override his veto power if he decides to use it.
If WE THE PEOPLE want to add an amendment to the Constitution regarding, say, privacy, we can do that so long as ALL the states want it.
This is the way governments are SUPPOSED to work. Executive Orders don't belong in this government: The POTUS is specifically is denied the right to act like a dictator.
I don't think people are even aware of how close we are to losing it all: Our freedoms, our speech, our civil rights.
It's time to swing the pendulum in the other direction, because in addition to our eroding civil rights the lives of MILLIONS of Iraqi and Iranian men, women and children are at stake, and frankly I think the lives of millions of people are more important than my politics. In my mind any votes for the OTHER candidates are completely wasted, because none of them represent you or me. Unless y'all really WANT a government of elites, NAFTA, the NAU, SSP, a global tax, and UN ownership of all the seas and oceans in the world? Come again?
Think about this: Ron Paul is NOT perfect but he's the best candidate for TODAY. He's the ONLY good candidate because we're at the brink and it will take someone like Ron Paul to bring our government back to the way it was meant to be. The next time 'round we might need someone else.
