  • Ron Paul Supporter

Yes, I am part of the huge wave of support for Ron Paul. No, I am not a bot. I am a 41 y.o. living, breathing human being with a soul, a passion for my country and the principles defined in the founding documents. Uh, that would be the Costitution and The Declaration of Independence. I, like growing numbers of people around this country, are working hard to promote Ron Paul on the internet because it is a democratic medium. While the mainstream media (yourself included) continues to explain away Ron paul's popularity with lies, We are building a vast network of grassroots supporters. Your fantasy that this is all some foreign computer geek botnet conspiracy to medel in US presidential politics is pathetic, at best. Is it possible that your botnet fantasy scenario can also explain the funds pouring into Ron Paul's campaign? If we are all bots, where do the campaign contributions come from, in your uninformed opinion?

You should stick to what you know, and stop spreading lies on behalf of your corporate owners and their corrupt friends. You look foolish.

  • Thank you, Andrew Leonard, for slandering me.

I am a Ron Paul supporter. I am not part of a bot-net and I believe that your unfounded accusation about the existence of such a bot-net working on Ron Paul's behalf is not merely libel, but outright disinformation intended to smear a legitimate candidate. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Latest RP smear champagin...

Anyone who is halfway qualified in both technology and political science would realize that, 1.) Ron Paul supporters are very often passionate privacy advocates, 2.) Ron Paul supporters are typically technically saavy, 3.) That technically saavy privacy advocates commonly use anonymizer technology (such as Tor) when connected to the Internet, and 4) that anonymizer software produces untraceable IPs by bouncing the packets randomly around the globe so that corporations (and governments) cannot snoop on who is writing what from where about a given political candidate.

  • Stupid

My Oh my - you people are really scared of this guy aren't you?

Get over it. Ron Paul is here to stay because he is speaking the minds of millions of disenfranchised Americans. They want to see their government represent them, not some rich bankers, not some World Bank, not some irrelevant perpetually corrupt subsidy-addicted nation in the Middle East.

  • Ron Paul is not who you want him to be

The reality is that real people are becoming really amazed at how the internet can reach real people. I know it can be a bit surprising to realize that the internet is an alien life form to those not "in the know". However, the basic fact remains that the internet is a living mass that operates like a brain....The prevailing thought is supported by real action.

Fact - we have too much government in too much stuff.

We have become slaves to the systems we as people built. Looking for efficiencies and increased profit, while compromising personal liberty for enhanced lifestyle. The Baby Boomers, spending the nations wealth on themselves, resulted as the first generation in American history that will leave the country in a negative position. Real Consequences.

Since we as people sold our selves for the "American Dream", most didn't realize how sleepy Americans had become as well as, how much it is costing.

Now the call to "Wake Up" is reaching people in the millions. The Main Stream Media has manipulated the country for so long that it has squandered its credibility. Facing a credibility crisis, the MSM almost always introduces coverage of Ron Paul as "You'll never win the Presidency". Real People don't realize that this is a direct challenge to the strength and vicarity of the internet.

This is a real struggle. Ron Paul is not who you want him to be. Ron Paul is what we need him to be for the good of the country, the families of the United States, and to the families of the World.

At some point we must pause; we select our future as real people. There is an opportunity to make a real choice. You know....People still keep it Real.

  • Wait a minute...

Ron Paul would not use a botnet because using botnets is not strictly proscribed by the constitution!

Ok, I support Ron Paul, but the best way to deflate stupidity is with humor and wit. Don't get too worked up and keep a smile on your face. That's what he does when he gets asked one stupid question after another.

    Go Ron Paul!

  • Leave it to the states

He may share many of the beliefs of the religious right, but he's no Christofascist, since he does not believe the federal government can or should enforce them. With that said, I would feel terrible for people stuck in the more backward states (like mine, right now) should this sort of power-devolution occur.

He's also completely opposed to neoliberalism. When he says "free market," he means it, and it ought to be a lot easier to build support for taking the rich off of welfare than the poor.

I was at a Star Wars Fan Days event recently, and there was a booth of Ron Paul supporters, with a sign that said "Restore the Republic."

  • Yes, I am a Paulite!!

I voted Democrat in 2006. Pelose, Reid, et al. completely let us down in Congress. I wholeheartedly support Ron Paul, and I post messages about him online every day and night. I send him money. I stand on the street with signs. I talk to people I know.

There is only one person worthy of being the 44th President of the United States, and that person is Ronald Earnest Paul.

I hope you all wake up when Ron Paul raises millions and millions on November 5th. Then you'll be trying to explain how bots accomplished that, I'm sure.

Every Democratic candidate is lame, owned by corporations, and a liar. They will not promise to leave Iraq, they will not assure us there is no Iran War coming, they will not quit licking Israel's boots....but Ron Paul will. Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Richardson won't win the White House, but Ron Paul will invite them to his inauguration, you can be sure! :-)
