While it would be a shame to have to wait a while yet to see Daniel Craig back in action as 007, I don't find myself in any particular distress over delays in the arrival of the next Terminator installment or the pre-Lord of the Rings adventures of Bilbo Baggins. We could all use the breather, frankly.
While I can appreciate the Take Five sentiment, if you've ever been on (or inconvenienced by) the set of an even small or modest movie production you'd see the great number of people who's modest incomes depend on 'the show going on.' I believe the point is that if the subprime fallout is being felt by Bond and Bilbo, it certainly is going to be felt by all of the rest of us...
