a kind of poetic justice in this. The subprime lending industry is basically a fuckover from the monied capital class to the lower and lower middle......we'll get you in your dream house, but you have to sign your life over at sodomy level interest rates to get it....de facto enslavement in exchange for shiny baubles (confession--I fell for this..or at least got forced into falling for it).
