And He Should Know
NAFTA kicked Mexico in the collective groin, and it wasn't great for most people in the USA or Canada either. How many times do we have to repeat it: so-called "Free Trade" is a very destructive oxymoron. It's neoliberalism: welfare for the rich and free markets for the poor. It's responsible for the majority of the world's poverty. Reverse it, repeal it, and precedents show that things get much better. Make trade fair.
As I've said before, maybe the only other option is "The Ukraine Model:" Collapsing birth rates without a fall in rates of death and/or emigration.
