  • Outsourcing to China

Can we outsource our political bodies to China, where they seem to understand the term 'progress through directed investments in infrastructure'? Or must we continue to overpay for cable/DSL service?

  • well

I suppose if you want to work for slave wages in indentured servitude in a pollution belching and leeching factory then you can have your free wifi in China to go along with it. The Chinese economy is resting on the frail backs of its slave workers supplying the West with all manner of cheap goods.

  • Such is the Nature of Development

There is no wealthy society on earth whose success was not built on the backs of slaves- whether through shackles and whips or economic exploitation. Besides, if we don't do something to educate our people and expand and renovate our infrastructure, we won't need to go to China to live in those condiditons. Indeed, I'm sure you could already find many Americans who could claim that oppressed status.
