so

here in the US we allow cable companies and the like to squeeze every penny they can out of us for inferior services, to protect their profits. In Taipei they provide cutting edge access to all because they understand that widespread regional innovation spurred by net access allows them to compete more readily and easily in the world market. Hmmph. whatever.
