It's not runaway greed or overregulation. It's the world we live in. It's a price that can be seen in a single gallon of California gas.

    THE CAUSE OF THE PRICE OF GAS AND HOME HEATING OIL: "Liberalism!"

    I completely empathize with Mr. Leonard.

    However, he seems to sluff off the causes of this debacle, namely America's Democratic/liberal/left wing/environmentalist nuts!

    We could have been totally, 100%, energy self-sufficient by now had not those groups blocked drilling in ANWR, off-shore, on-shore drilling, and blocked clean coal and oil shale development as well as the construction of oil refineries--for 30+ years!

    It's not too late but it will take many years to rectify the damage done to our country. That rectification will never happen until liberals can't fill their gas tanks and they freeze in their homes and offices.
