    Short/medium routes

    I didn't read every letter, but am pretty sure this comment hasn't been made yet:

    An early comment was to the effect that the "Q" would be the best thing for short and medium routes. WRONG! That would be high speed rail, or even speeds from our rail system of sixty years ago.

    I love flying, used to be a pilot, and favorite two flights as a passenger were on a Viscount and a DC-6 to Europe via Iceland. But our passenger airline system isn't sustainable.
