    Infrastructure investment

    I'd like to see any investment in travel infrastructure directed to rebuilding our passenger railroad system. I'm not expecting either party to do that though. They seem committed to bailing out our domestic auto industry. Then the govenment will have even more of a vested interest in perpetuating an automobile oriented system for all but the longest travel distances.
