Ask the pilot

Propped up by a culture of fear, TSA has become a bureaucracy with too much power and little accountability. Where will the lunacy stop?

The horse left the barn moths ago

This is just another case of our stupidity. The fact is that if the government had forced airlines to install solid metal doors on the cockpit with the policy that No ONE ever gets into the cockpit during a flight, 9/11 would not have happened. That regulation was fought bitterly by the airlines because of added weight. So now we are stuck with a huge new bureaucracy to prevent another attack that is exactly like the one on 9/11. Any terrorist worth his/her salt would never do the same attack again when there are so many more easier targets. Just wait till someone drops a bomb on a couple of MacDonalds. Then we'll have TSA at fast food joints.
