Let me get this straight. The ESPN projection has the series going to Game 7 389 times - and Tampa Bay wins 358 of those Game 7's. That's a 92% winning percentage in a single game. I submit that there's something seriously wrong with any model that gives a team - any team - a 92% chance of winning a single baseball game.
Ok, so it's only 90%, not 92%. Stupid me.
1. This software only runs on PCs. Not on Macs. Can Microsoft be trusted with The National Pastime (TNP). I prefer to think not.
2. 2,000 simulations. How long does one simulation last?
You are just jealous of them.
Let the conflation begin.
You've got the Phillies results upside-down.
...as shown us that when small market teams win the series, they are disbanded within two years, at the most.
So The Rays, however charming and/or exciting this season, are just a momentary blip on the sports radar. That's why I can't get into them. That that that crappy stadium.
