The Suns trade Marion to roll the dice on Shaq. It'd be cool if this were a great idea, but it doesn't look like one. Plus: Vitale's comeback question.

The mind-numbingly boring foul-a-thon at the end of any game is a blight...except in the very rare instances where your team is doing one of those insane finishes where they hit insane 3 pointers, foul, then heave the ball up and hit another one (those are pretty rare though...but exciting in a wtf?! kind of way).

As long as we're talking about End Games though...my vote for the worst is the tedious "run out the clock" in football. Two first downs kills 6 minutes?! (I'm being slightly facetious). It just kills the excitement of a well played game. I know, I know...it's up to the D to make a stop...but still it's just awful. I still think that come the 4th quarter, the clock stops on every play. Think about it...it could be AWESOME.

As for the trade...I'm pretty sure I did a Scooby Doo quizzical head-tilt and grunt when I heard it on the radio. The only thing I can think is that Marion REALLY wanted out and they got the best they could for him (which was MUCH better than the Raptors got for Carter). Still, why couldn't they have made the move for Gasol? Were there extenuating circumstances there?
