Last Night
I was channel surfing and came across an "air guitar" championship.
I'd say that's the musical equivalent of the sports nerds.

Giants who? Chargers are who?
Packers play good all year and they have home field advantage and will defeat the giants in a game that is just a side show to the real deal.
The Patriots will destroy San Diego, who always always loses in the big game. Not that they have a chance anyways.
Brady is as good as Joe Montana was in the eighties.
They have a front line that protects him and they have recievers that unlike Dallas can catch the ball. I did say Romo sucked and was over paid. I loved to see the Cowboys owner all pissed off on the sideline. Money not well spent on Romo! I missed Terrell blubbering at the press conference however and that must have been priceless!
The little PPK girl is my hero and will be rewarded in the Title game greetings. Go Pats! I do not dislike the Giants or Packers or Chargers like I do Pittsburg and Dallas but none of them stand a chance...no chance...

BOOOOO, King!
And I like to boo Cal grads who use the subjunctive inconsistently in consecutive sentences. "if she were" v. "if the kitten was."? BOOOO!
-
don't forget the Dallas O-line
"But Favre figures to hang in against that rush better than Romo, who went into a fling-it-off-the-back-foot routine in the second half, with disastrous results, though some of that disaster can be laid at the feet of his receivers -- kind of like how some of the throws that hit their hands lay at their feet Sunday."
The Dallas O-line had a large role in this as well. In the first half, they were solid in their blocking, allowing Romo to have an okay performance and Barber to look like a beast. In the second half, they couldn't block at all and the result was Romo being run all over the field and Marion Barber going nowhere. Plus, throughout the whole game, they kept making stupid mistakes and getting nailed with penalties.

King - do you ever visit the Colts forum at Indy Star
I ask because then you'd find out how Colts fans think they and the Colts are so much classier than every other team or set of fans in the league.
That's the point of the booing. Self-righteous Colts fans who apply one standard to themselves, and an entirely different one to everyone else.

hit "Publish My Letter" by accident....
....If the Green Bay O-line can play well the whole game and keep the NY defense in check, Favre and the running game should be okay.

@ Green Job
I imagine most teams' fans, as a group, think they're the classiest, most knowledgeable of all fans and their team is the classiest and best. At least, the successful teams' fans. It's certainly not a trait exclusive to Colts fans.
For what it's worth, I don't like the Colts, so I'm not being a homer here. But I live in Patriots country and I can guarantee you Pats fans are just as, if not more, overbearing about themselves and their team than Colts fans or any other fans, for that matter. I know a Chargers fan who is REAL arrogant, yet when they lose, he becomes the most unbearable poor sport, bad mouthing the opponenet constantly without ever looking at hat his own team did. Dallas Cowboys fans...well, I probably don't have to say anything here...people tend to have a certain perception of us that gets applied across the board.
So, let's not do anything so silly as to single out one team or its fans as the only ones who have this 'homeristic' trait. Good or bad, it's just a natural trait found in sports fandom.

It's not disrespect
The Patriots' accomplishments speak for themselves, and no one doubts their abilities.
We just don't like them for draining all of the joy out of the game by being petulant and bitter in their success.

Self Righteous Clowns in New England
I agree that Kraft isn't taking the whole Anna Grant thing too seriously, and he's having some fun with it. Good for him, good for Anna Grant and her family. I would love to see her wear a Yankees hat to the game on Sunday, though. Just to see how that would go.
-
Brady has a Yankees hat
Maybe Anna can borrow it.

You got it all wrong
I think that King Kaufman and some posters have it all wrong about the Patriots being overly sensitive on the issue of the girl being booed by Colts fans. I think the real issue is that the Patriots management from top to bottom can't stand the Colts GM (Polian) and maybe even Dungy after his comments this year. The history with Polian is long and pretty hilarious. The only reason that a stink was made (I feel) is that it tweaks the Colt's organization. Just my two cents.

Perseverance ends
It was disgusting that Indy fans treated that little 14 y/o Patriots' girl so abysmally (even if directed at her attire). However, all the honors and celebrations at the "Razor" will not help the Pats this W/E.
have studied the Chargers last eight or so games, and - even with the so-called injuries to Rivers, Tomlinson etc. believe they will put up one helluva fight - and even, conceivably prevail.
Anthony Cromartie is lights out ferocious and fells receivers like a true bounty hunter. Merriman is damned near unstoppable. Oshansky, despite his mouth, has major hits to back it up. In a word, the Bolt D will be all over Brady and his receivers like so many Blue bottle flies on horse manure come Sunday.
If Rivers is even at 70% he will be able to match Brady TD for TD, as opposed to FG for TD - the downfall of the Jags. I saw plays made by Rivers in the Indy game I've never beheld from the over-hyped Brady.
WIth Chambers, Gates and others in the backfield, it will be hard for the NE secondary to keep up.
Look also at the Bolts' +48 turnovers in the season. Look for numerous balls to pop out of the hands of: Welker, Gaffney, Stallworth and Moss (I count five drops - mainly from being distracted by this mess in FLA, and the assault charges pending)
As difficult as it is for me to say this, I must therefore change my earlier cautious forecast (33-31 SD win in OT) to:
San Diego 42
Patriots 27
Finally, is there a national "conspiracy" to "disrespect" the Patsies? No, merely 100 million-plus football fans who want these foul fuckers to LOSE. They do not deserve, with their spygate scandal, to be ranked among the best teams in history.
