Where's the former trainer who says he was interviewed four times and blamed management, not players, for the steroid mess? Plus: Clemens, bowl-game grad rates.
  • Derrick Jackson does this every year

And he also includes the race angle. Somewhere there's even a bar graph, which makes things nice and visual. I believe he does brackets for March Madness as well.

The Mitchell Report, I'm having a hard time getting worked up over it. A few months back, I accepted the truth: everyone was doing it. Bonds goes in to the HOF, Clemens goes in the HOF. WTF. Don't know what that means in terms of whether I care less about sports or not. But damn, bike racing, track-and-field...do steroids help you hit a golf ball further? (Insert obligatory golf-as-sport joke here.) Steroids are everywhere.

But yeah King, I like your idea. An amnesty up front would have been the right way to go. Maybe even anonymity. Maybe more players would have stepped up, maybe not, who knows? As it is, the report is useless, just tittilation, not confirmatory.
