  • Bonds & Clemens: Notice the lack of venom and contempt for Clemens in MSM and on this site

I just like to provide emperical data about my elemental position about racism and How Bonds was demonized by the white press and Black apologists....

I will continue with periodic updates......

    As always Keeping Hope Alive...

  • And...

...let's all continue working to get Cepeda into the HOF!!!

  • Seilg should give himself a 1 year Suspension

Selig was primarily responsible for the steroid era. He was the commissioner and failed to take any action even though he knew what was going on. Any claims to the contrary are ludicrous. Selig and the owners did not take any action because steroids saved baseball. The 1998 home run race brought America back to baseball and put money in their pocket. Selig ignored it, the owners ignored it, and the players association ignored it.

  • Action

I just loved Selig's quote about the report:

This is a call for action, and I will take action.

Like the commision required that he sit on both thumbs for 20 months.

  • Clemens Venom

Thrasher lamented the lack of 'Clemens Venom' on this site (heh). Well, let me correct that.

I think Roger Clemens is a pathetic, lying, me-first, scumbag who should never be allowed within a mile of the HOF.

He is a pussy who brings teams down with his I-play-the-worst-when-the-chips-are-down performances (remember him getting tossed in the 1st inning of a WS game!!).

I'm so happy he was outed as a steroid abuser. I laugh at his misfortune/arrogance (buwahahahaha).

    How about that?

  • Clemens

I think the issue with Clemens isn't the fan's attitude, but the media fawning over him. Negative behavior is reported, but rarely editorialized negatively. Even the Piazza bat throwing incident was reported, then died away. If Bonds had done that, we'd still be seeing tape of it on Sportscenter every night.

  • Someone told me George Mitchell is on the Board of Directors of the Redsox

    Conflict of interest much?
