The Indians chose Wahoo as an homage, not as a racist joke! Have we lost all perspective?!?
Think about it - there's a reason there aren't any teams that use the whooping crane as their mascot. Teams choose mascots that are intimidating; it's meant as an honor that the Indians picked Wahoo as their mascot.
Honestly people, get it together.
