With every excuse to lose, the Jazz and Derek Fisher beat the Warriors in -- yes, TNT -- dramatic fashion.
  • NHL Predictions

I'll go Ducks in 6 against Detroit. They had enough firepower to beat a pretty defensive Canucks team (yeah, I know there were some injuries) in 5 games. Ducks look strong and rested.

Buffalo in 7. I'm a little nervous on this one. Something tells me it might be Ottawas year to beat expectations and we're due for some kind of upset.

Now, this basketball thing. Fans and writers make it sound so exciting but whenever I stumble upon it on television I lose interest so quickly. It just seems like nothing ever happens except scoring. No real checking, no real neutral zone action to speak of, no real defence. Wouldn't it be easier to just have a single basket and have the teams take turns having possesion or take turns slam dunking? I saw some strange basketball-like sport once where they were using trampolines. that loked kind of fun.
