    Some balm for Big 10

    At least my alma mater, Penn State, salvaged some honor for the Big 10 by holding the Tennessee Vols to 10 points in a 20-10 win on New Year's Day. QB Morelli played his best game of the year, a good portent for next fall in Happy Valley. (I'm not saying the Nittany Lions would have won last night, but I believe that Penn State's D would have kept Leaf and Co. in check more than the sieve that was the Buckeyes' defense.)
