Our Letters to the Editor policy has changed!

Before you can post a Letter to the Editor, Salon now requires that you register and provide a working e-mail address. Registration is free. (Salon Premium members do not need to register -- if you are a Salon Premium member, just log in to your Premium account.)

To register, enter your desired screen name, password and a working email address in the fields below. Your screen name will be permanent, and will be the signature for all Letters to the Editor you submit from this point on, so please choose carefully!

Once you've entered the required information and clicked "submit," we'll send you a confirmation e-mail. To complete your registration, you'll need to retrieve your confirmation e-mail and follow the instructions provided.
