  • @doc Trimble v. Hume: Next Steps?

Good post. Do you know of any follow up analysis? I'm not sure who to believe here, if anyone. I would feel more comfortable if some of Hillary's FP cred checks out. As far as asking the people of Ireland goes, where is maureenodonnell when you need her?

  • Democratic Party imploding

The super delegates must come out pronto and cast their votes now. Rest assured that the party is imploding now thanks to the vile injection of race and gutter ads by the Clintons. Hillary will destroy the party before she will concede that Obama is ahead of her.

  • ok

I will admit for myself and Hillary that the war was a mistake, but I cannot answer for her that her vote was. A vote was cast and cannot be retracted, but it can be corrected. I do know that she has the ability to get us out of the war and to surround herself with others with the knowledge and power to do it, in a timely manner. Obama insists he can do it quicker, kind of reminds me of 'I can name that tune in 5 notes" "4 notes". Name that tune, (end that war)

We as a nation have gained nothing with the war and lost much, but we have made it clear that we shall not be tread upon by any and we will support our nation with the pride and strength of the king of the jungle.

  • @zenwick

zenwick: "Thanks to all of you Obama supporters who agreed with me that he has never been tested. How could you not agree, since it's obvious that he never has."

Huh? What are you talking about? I didn't agree with you. In fact I pointed to his long list of legislative accomplishments. What kind of "test" were you looking for?

zenwick: "The best you all can come up with is "her neither", "blow job", "passenger seat", etc. The point is, Hillary has been through many fights, and is still standing. Obama has been in exactly: zero."

I didn't say "her neither," but I did ask you to tell me where/how Clinton has been tested. Does getting attacked by Rush Limbaugh count? Really?

I didn't mention any blow jobs, didn't say "passenger seat," or whatever.

What fights has Hillary been through? I mean, real fights, where she had to do something other than giving media soundbites? You haven't exactly outlined what you're referring to.

  • @Me

Me: "I talked to the Obama supporters and they all supported Obama based on his policies, his Iraq war vote, etc.....pretty boring stuff."

Oops I didn't mean to say VOTE, I meant POSITION.

Way to ruin my own joke.

  • Surround Herself With. . .

I love the "she will surround her self with good people" argument. How has that worked for her in the primary? Not so well. Of the two, Obama seems to be the one with the better staff and better advisors. I haven't seen any evidence Clinton would even be as effective as Obama, never mind more effective, on day one.

  • uncle fester -

what's about the people of Spain - they have an opinion too and their king of the jungle is Obama!

  • @wayannas10

Thank You, now if only Clinton could say the same thing!

I think the problem for alot of people (at least the ones posting in the leftie internets) is that her refusal to acknowledge that she was wrong on that vote signals that she hasn't learned any lessons from it, and that she could make the same mistake again when she answers that 3 am call. I don't think it's invalid to look at her approval of kyl/lieberman and surmise that she seems to have trouble learning those lessons.

    cheers

  • Lets Look at this "tested" meme..............

HRC supporters say shes "vetted" and "tested". So lets look at that.

First off, she was involved in two presidential elections with Bill. She got to see what it was all about from the inside. Yet she, having that "experience" to "learn from" has run one of the worst camapigns in history. She acts like she's never seen a caucus before and like she has no idea how to control her staff.

So if she was "tested" by such things as failing on healthcare, how many times will she have to fail at delivering it before she learns. right now she is in presidential campaign number three of her life and can't pull it out, hell Texas was still a big mystery to her.

She was supposedly "tested" and "experienced" with the republicans- and that made her a "fighter". Lets look at that. Did her experience with the rightwing make her more of a fighter against Bush? On Iraq? on the PA, FISA, torture, act etc etc. Ask yourselves, when did she ever take on the president or republicans? So she was tested, but she then turned around and trusted the president? You mean she hadn't figured out the right wing can be trusted? How many years of fighting does it take for her to figure out that they lie? And she trusted the pres so much she never even read the NIE report?

Not to mention that in this camapign she is handing, not just talking points against Obama to the right wing- but supplying the very ammo to be used against her of she does get the nom. Thats what she learned about fighting the right wing?

Sorry her experience and tested claims are BS.

Now lets look at "vetted". She won't release her tax returns, and this weekend- unreported by the war room- Bills library decided to hide his papers on his pardons. She also won't release white house records.

    So much for vetted.

With all of the above how any normal adult can think she is "vetted" experienced" "a fighter" or not quetion her judgement is beyond me.

The facts are exceedingly obvious. What she is doing is Rovian tactic 101. Take your weekness and pretend its a strength.

Oh yeah, and BTW, the last time we thought someone had "experience" because he was related to someone in the White House and saw "behind the scenes" was how many people trusted Bush jr. Didn't turn out so well when the phone rang at three am, did it?
