Interesting....

a few hours after it is revealed the Democrats have the votes to pass the bill...

Salon and Alex seem to be the last to know.

How typical.

Passing Health Care Reform

Whatever happen to congress passing a health care bill, is it just a democratic house bill? The republicans have decided to set around and do nothing. Every republican on the house floor said nothing that made sense, they used words such as terrorism, tyranny, jail, increase tax, higher premiums and increase deficit, which none of these are true. They are great liars, and fear mongers. Beware republicans there is a tomorrow and some people will not be so forgiving!

I don't get it -- why do they want to give up their cushy berths?

Comrade Pelosi and her crew will scream they tried to give us "free" healthcare.

SF loves the lovely females and will keep them forever.

But Pelosi loses power and the other Dungocrats go home and clip coupons.

and the one Republican is

a Vietnamese representative from New Orleans!!! I'm so damned proud of my home town!

Tuesday's elections should have given them a slight clue

But they can have fun for another year when the big broom takes over.

Saturday, November 7, 2009 08:24 PM

Sweet

Looks like we're well on our way to forcing young, healthy Americans to buy private health insurance to subsidize care for the worthless boomer generation (nothing new there), and imposing a tax on them if they don't, thereby breaking two Obama campaign promises at once, while simultaneously enriching private insurance companies and increasing the deficit (and allow me to laugh pre-emptively in the face of anyone who pulls out that absurd CBO report claiming that this plan will reduce the deficit--hardy har har)

Break out the bubbly!

Historical yes, let's jist hope..

Let's hope that it is a GOOD bill once all is said and done. If it doesn't do what we all hope, we're in for some tough times. What needs to happen is for all those tea partiers to see how nice it is not to go bankrupt or see a family member die at the hands of big for profit insurance co's.

If there are problems they have to be proactive and fix them quickly. Just getting it passed here is one step. Combining with Senate another. Implementing ohh geeze. Hold on tight.

A big broom yes!

To sweep the freeky fringers out of the Republican party. And for America to sweep the obstructionists out on their asses. Bring it on! The MAJORITY of Americans wanted change, voted for change and are one more step closer. Pass out the red crying towels. I'm dancing in the street!
