@ mgriscom

A friendly reminder:

Teddy 'The Swimmer' Kennedy's car has killed more people than my Glock.

All I need my Glock for is to legally protect myself from the assaults of the SEIU and ACORN thugs like they did to Mr. Ken Gladney at Chicken Little Russ Carnahan's town hall mmeeting in St. Louis. Ther real terrorists were the ACORN and SEIU thugs who called this conservative black man a 'house nigger, Uncle Tom' and other thigs that were equally vile.

To you libtards free speach is only free when it agrees with you. Sorry, it dosen't work that way, and we have the 2nd amendment to protect that right.

By the way, since it has now been proven that Joe Wilson was right by Chairman Obama now actively working language into the bill preventing Illegals from getting care, should he not be made the new 'TRUTH CZAR'!

@-- What the???

Keep spewing the party line, you help conservatives more with each idiotic comment. The DC office was one of those 4 or 5 places Acorn stated where the undercover action was tried and failed. The video proved that was otherwise. Like Obama Acorn lies. Technically whether they can be charged, and I've heard the arguements for both, with any crime or not these are disgusting actions by a government subsidized housing assistance office. This is definitly worthy of the further investigation people have been calling for many years into the true nature and practices of Acorn.

People are going to hold Obama's machines to it's own Alinsky rules of making the opposition hold up to it's own standards. Enslaving teenage girls into prostitution, setting up brothels and tax fraud far from the help to communities this mob run minority exploiting claims to be striving for.It exposes you for your closed minded opinion and willingness to support that type of organization as a digusting ideologue.

This broke last week not on Friday you found the one liberal press release that came out on the online edition only after they were caught . Where else has the liberal media even brought this issue up? My original point still stands valid.

Oops

I messed up the cliche about big pond/small pond, but whatever. You get the point.

@Old Poor Richard

Nobody voted for Obama to cut government spending. That was your guy, who lost.

Also, you're a short-sighted myopic fool, who can't see that sometimes social spending is an investment that pays for itself. One of the reasons we've had such a dominant economy for such a long time is that we have public education. Your ideological forebears were against that, too, because it would cost so much money, never realizing that in the end, it would make us all more prosperous. Or, if they did realize it, they also realized that they'd rather be a big fish in a small pond than a big fish in a little one, and so they didn't want anyone else to get ahead.

So, which is it? Are you stupid, or are you greedy?

Doing the right thing--how is that "giving in?"

The government needs to get the fuck out of the health care business, period. We need reasonable regulations, that's one of the core purposes of government, but the government should not be funding it, except for the needy--period.

Illegal aliens should not be barred from buying insurance, but they should be barred from getting any free help under any circumstances. And Medicare should be abolished, replaced by Medicaid for the poor, and private coverage for those who can pay.

It's crazy that His Royal Highness Obama is claiming that his disastrous and evil health care scheme is opposed only by industry and people who "want to take Obama down". I don't want to take him down--I just want him to FUCKING QUIT FUCKING SPENDING FUCKING MONEY. Glad to have him as president, as long as his domestic agenda is to dismantle Washington DC spending.

It's about the SPENDING and the DEFICIT, which must be STOPPED, not about illegals or health insurance or about anything else.

Of course they are

They were ready even before Wilson uttered it. They cave to any "Centrist" or "Moderate" Senator, any Blue Dog House member or Republican shot against health care reform.

Why? Because they are Republicans in Democratic skin. Trojan horses in the Dem tent. Just look at their states: DEEP RED! Nuff said.

@The Ugly Liar Returns

Illegal immigrants are just trying to feed their families. The real criminals are those who hire illegals. Why do you reserve all of your hate for the poor, and have nothing to say of Wal-Mart management?

If we had criminal penalties for employers who hire illegals, and especially for executives who knowingly condone the practice, illegal hiring would stop immediately. The problem is that your party would rather use the issue to demonize liberals than actually do anything about it, as proven by the last 8 years.

There's no Democratic platform position that says we all love illegal immigration and want to give illegals healthcare, no matter how much you try to pretend that's the case. It's just another non-sequitur that you're using to avoid showing any compassion for your fellow citizen, to avoid social responsibility, to distract from the issues, and to demonize the left. In short, you are nothing more than the ideological successor of Joseph Geobbels. Sieg Heil!

Illegal immigrants are criminals

They have committed a crime. Treat them and their children as such.

Otherwise, just abandon the idea that we have borders and sovereignty and any control over either.

Baucus and Conrad

Baucus and Conrad are the problem. They waste time chasing plastic dragons instead of working toward meaningful reforms. Ax them both.

Saturday, September 12, 2009 04:01 PM

Let it start

OK lets get this war between the humans, and the republacunts started. This Pissed off LIBERAL can shoot strate, You fucking recunts think you can intimadate us? As some asshole once said, "Bring it on"!

I should have written what I wrote better

Entrapment isn't a crime, it's a legal defense against "stings" done or solicited by the government. If it were found to apply in this case, however, it would probably help ACORN's case in other criminal and civil grievances.

Saturday, September 12, 2009 03:12 PM

LOL--Awww, now you're mad

I'm not making excuses--I'm letting you know what reality is. And here it is again:

1) 2 or 4 unethical employees (all fired) at two locations, when the ruse didn't work at 5 other locations proves nothing about ACORN or its standard procedures as a whole. In fact, the 5 locations that refused to help the fake pimp and prostitute are the majority representation of ACORN's procedures.

2) Was there any crime committed by those four employees? No--as no action was taken by them, no taxes filed, no bank loan applications filled out--they were just giving highly unethical word-of-mouth advice.

3) Was their any crime committed by the filmmakers that set up the ruse? Possibly yes--entrapment (if the filmmaker has received any funding from any politician or government agent, it would be entrapment), unlawful surveillance, and they could also be investigated for what they claimed to want to do on the videotape--conspiracy to commit prostitution, conspiracy to sexually traffic minors, conspiracy to commit fraud, etc.

4) Was their any crime committed by Fox News? Fox could be sued by ACORN in civil court for harassment and defamation.
