You were the trusted evening voice of my childhood, and there will never be another like you.

Love You, Uncle Walter....

Walter Cronkite delivered. The news, and us....He was the most trusted voice, and man, with reason.

How I wish we'd had Walter Cronkite on the air during the election of 2000, 9/11, and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

We had Walter for the saddest of times past(JFK, MLK, Bobby Kennedy), and the most exhilirating times(the "Man on the Moon...Oh Boy!..." narration is the first thing I think of, when I think of Walter).

RIP, Uncle Walter.
