How can something be both predictable and ironic at the same time?
Clearly we aren't understanding that Sarah Palin is so godly, so patriotic, and such a great mom that she shouldn't be closely examined and criticized like every other politician.
Do you know how hard it is to be a misunderstood saint? No wonder she quit. She's too good for us mere voters.
I suspect Sarah is feeling a huge sense of relief upon dropping all her responsibility to the citizens of Alaska. I think now She can do exactly as She wants without the burden of doing the job She campaigned for, and was elected to do. I believe she has neither the strength, the temperament, or the skills to be an actual executive. However, She knows very well how to be pretty, how to be vindictive, and how to manipulate those who fall under her influence. I think there is no real substance under that pretty facade, and I think she is her own greatest admirer.
XJS AND ME sez:"The perfect definition of this slut is:
C-an't
U-nderstand
N-ormal
T-hinking.
This lowlife form is something which slithered out from under a rock."
We don't know if Sarah Palin is sexually promiscuous or not. Either way it has no bearing on her complete break with reality. Plus, plenty of sluts are nice, caring, ethical people.
Comparing Sarah Palin to a cunt is an insult to vaginas everywhere. The female anatomy is a beautiful thing; Sarah Palin's presence in politics is an obscenity.
Things that slither from beneath rocks deserve a better accounting than to be compared to Sarah Palin as well, but at least that's not sexist.
Sexist language is lame and offensive. And it's totally unnecessary. Sarah Palin sucks in so many ways, it's mind-boggling that you had to invent stories in your mind about her sexual behavior in order to insult her. No imagination, clearly.
Her family is already a Jerry Springer show. No, it comes down to the simple truth that she got a better gig.
It's clear that Palin is a loser.
IF she can't take the heat in the spotlight she tries to create for herself and then threatens the 'perpetrators' with action in a court - ooops, time to see a shrink....
The ultimate loose cannon.....
is of course going to run for president.I am not sure quitting her job as Gov. is the right way to show people that she is the one for the most important job in our country, for me it shows that she is a quitter when things get tough and that she doesn't have what it takes to see a job through to the end.
"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending soldiers out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan." --Sarah Pailn, on the Iraq war, speaking to students at the Wasilla Assembly of God, June 2008.
The first test of a person's sanity should be the question "Does God reveal war plans to you?".
Clearly, Sarah fails this test as do too many others.
Who told Gov. Palin it was Gen MacArthur that made the famous comment about the Marines at the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War? I know Republicans still like to hold Gen MacArthur up as a model American.
It was General O. P. Smith. And he said, "Retreat, Hell! We are just advancing in another direction." It was Gen. MacArthur that got the Marines traped there.
"The response in the main stream media has been most predictable, ironic, and as always, detached from the lives of ordinary Americans who are sick of the “politics of personal destruction”. - Sarah
fightthetheocracy commented: "Would someone please explain to this woman the concept of irony! Starting with this sentence!"
No, fight, it is actually the most perfect example of hypocrisy. This is the woman who spent her speech to the Republican National Convention (after introducing her wonderful family and telling us how much of a hero John McCain is) delivering the most slanderous pack of lies about Barack Obama, insulting everyone outside her conservative base with insinuations that we don't love America, and avoiding any hint of a vision for what she or McCain were planning to actually do in office.
Being so myopic and irrational as to engage in the most extreme hypocrisy, any irony would obviously be lost on her. The politics of personal destruction are her bread and butter, but it's "no fair, they're picking on me" when the media or liberals respond in kind. Why do you think she is so adored by her conservative base, hypocrites all. She truly is a lot like them, someone they can relate to.

Wait a minute...
How can something be both predictable and ironic at the same time?

You perhaps, are born alot like your father, he made mistakes he wished you could learn from and not make because of your simular tendencies. You try your best but you end up in a simular situation anyway as a result of trying to avoid your fathers mistake. Predictible and ironic at the same time.
Palin is just decided to call before she got set up in this game. It wasn't so much the liberal attacks I think as much as the ones that always seem to come just after she made her point and tried to move on with state business that mostly came from within the Republican party. Why? Why do the Republicans wish to take down one of thier own who actually could bring a crowd. Why does our choice always have to be between progressive and progressive light? Most americans feel we could use a good house cleaning in Washington and a big dissappointment of Obama so far is his becoming a intergral part of the games.
Republicans fear her appeal and were going to just keep asking her to plod along and take it while they orchestrated every facet of the machine to keep jabbing away and prevent her from gaining momentum within the party while slowly inflicting constant damage. A well polished bipartisan machine at work.
I'm a Libertarian and we don't care about what anybody is or does with there own lives. Liberty is a thing we value. I don't think Palin gives a crap about whether someone is gay or choses to have an abortion,it's a personal choice and your nieghbor as well as your government should keep the hell out of it. The left fears her for her having values that destroy thier stereotype of a self made successful woman. Church and abortion aint the issues most people are concerned about now, but spending, big government and jobs are and Palin has a grass roots movement she can focus and energize.I get what Palin is doing she's in fact being a point gaurd of sorts. She's setting herself up to be a sort of "Clarissa" character from "Mr Smith goes to Washington". She can get the ball rolling and influence and help hundreds of Mr Smiths. All politics is local and trust is earned. The worst she can accomplish is a more effective conservative movement with hundreds more conservatives in office at all levels even if she isn't the one to take it to the hoop so to speak. Government moves closer back to being under the control of the people, the important thing, but also she wins.
