Every pundit and talking head has been telling her (via the Media) that she can't be a national figure when she's tied-down as governor of the North Pole. She needs to study-up. She needs to take a step back. She's not promising to go away, despite Andrea Mitchell's reporting.
A governorship is a stepping stone. The real brass ring is out there, several thousand miles away from the dusty roads of Wasilla. She may be a cartoon figure, but she's as shrewd and calculating as a cartoon figure can be.
