Beck says this as if he's disappointed. We need another attack so our government will "do the right thing" but OBL won't attack because then our government would "do the right thing". Prior to this January, the lack of attack indicated that we were being protected, even if it meant breaking laws, justifying torture, and ignoring habeas corpus to do so. Now the only way we are going to be protected is if we get attacked?

Sometimes I believe those like Scheuer and Beck have a weird death fetish wish for any American city they aren't in. They themselves wouldn't do any actual acts of live terrorism, but they would get on some kind of happy train and say "See I told you so!" It really isn't about politics anymore, it is about them getting their jollys by watching bombs go boom in American cities to prove they are right.
