Fools

'A White Sports Coat and Pink Carnation' was one of my favorites when I was a teenager in the late 50's. But, he grew tiresome years ago with his ultra conservative ideology. Pat Boone has become a certified loony tune! I would like to see his birth certificate. Maybe we could get lucky and ICE will deport him back to the far off planet he came from and leave the rest of us alone with his lunatic ideas. I guess it goes with becoming a right wing fascist Christian. These people desperately want to believe that Obama isn't eligible. They imagine that somehow there wanting it is going to make it real. But, they are making fools out of themselves.

something stinks repeats right wing canards

Never mind that the State Department of Health in Hawai'i has said that the document that Obama has presented is legitimate. something stinks is going to pretend to be a Photoshop expert now, citing things he had read on right-wing blogs, about text alignment.

The funny thing is that this analysis is based on a SCANNED JPEG. No serious document expert would ever put value in such analysis.

http://www.kitv.com/politics/17860890/detail.html

The state's Department of Health director on Friday released a statement verifying the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama birth certificate.

Factcheck.org also viewed the document that Obama released (the actual document, not a jpeg copy on the internet) and attests to its veracity.

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

Update, August 26: We received responses to some of our questions from the Hawaii Department of Health. They couldn't tell us anything about their security paper, but they did answer another frequently-raised question: why is Obama's father's race listed as "African"? Kurt Tsue at the DOH told us that father's race and mother's race are supplied by the parents, and that "we accept what the parents self identify themselves to be." We consider it reasonable to believe that Barack Obama, Sr., would have thought of and reported himself as "African." It's certainly not the slam dunk some readers have made it out to be.

You really have NOTHING.

I will ask you again, provide proof (birth certificate or the equivalent) that Obama was born anywhere but Hawai'i.

My dear sitka0230,

Of course they are not going to write about the opium in a publication.

The Taliban eradicated the opium industry the previous year. Since we have invaded they have become the number one supplier of opium. Is the pipeline being built? The opium crop is being shipped out. Are women's rights being protected? Heroin on the streets is cheaper than Oxycontin at your HMO.

As for Honduras, the leaders of the coup met with U.S. Embassy officials prior to the coup and I will believe Hugo Chavez before I believe any fascist, murdering and lying American President.

But, can understand that some people like you were never taught the difference between right and wrong and would rather conform to whatever political and cultural madness which is inflicted upon the compliant and semi conscious masses by their benevolent owners, masters and lords of the MSM.

Your naivety and child like trust in corrupt authority is indeed admirable, laudable and worthy of at least a gold star or two, but since I cannot bestow such a prize upon you over the interwebs, i shall proffer you a sincere

HUZZAH!

Enjoy your bananas.

My dear sitka0230,

Hmmm, You came up with that Jane's article pretty fast. If you are at Langley want to do lunch in Arlington? how about Galaxy Hut or Iota. I have a lot os stuff that cannot be mentioned on the web that you would find very useful.

Plus, I need another mole. My lawn needs aeration.

Real stupidity or BS?

"The funny thing is that this analysis is based on a SCANNED JPEG. No serious document expert would ever put value in such analysis."

No, you never scan a document to put it into a computer and analyze it.

Never.

Ever.

-----------------------------------------

THAT IS EFFING HILARIOUS!

Most of the stupid apes who read that will take it as a fact without thinking about it for one second. That is how easy it is to lie to, con and manipulate how people think.

JPEG artifacts account for the paper pattern missing within letters and that suggestion that the lack of the pattern was evidence of forgery was based on analysis by people unfamiliar with computer graphics and compression artifacts. However, JPEG artifacts do not account for alignment issues. There is no adequate explanation for the misalignments other than sloppy editing in PhotoShop or some other graphics editing program.

So, that statement was a deliberate lie and con, right? You are not stupid.

@ Stinks

You do know, don't you, that birthers are a laughing stock even among conservatives.

But, hey, if you need, for some deep-seated emotional reason, to play the goofy paranoid rightwinger for us -- we understand.

Non Issue

Regardless of the place of residence at the time of birth. If his mother is a US citizen her children would be US citizens also. It happens all the time people who reside outside the US and have children outside the country are US citizen's. I Goggled it a few minutes ago. So this is a non issue. Obama's mother was a US citizen which means he is also even if he was born in Kenya.

@something stinks

No, you never scan a document to put it into a computer and analyze it.

Anyone doing serious document analysis with scanned images would use a lossless image format (such as TIFF) to prevent introduction of compression artifacts.

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 07:46 AM

My dear Alkaline,

Which is precisely why Factcheck posted a JPEG instead of a TIFF.

They could have posted a TIFF and they could have posted it in high resolution as they did with the photographs. They chose not to do that.

That would not have served the purpose that they were posted for, would it?

Or do you think the people at Factcheck are just stupid, lazy and incompetent?

Maybe they are just clever.

Not clever enough to fool
