and by the way, here in Minnesota, as in many states, birth records are all centralized in our capital city (St. Paul) and certified copies of your birth certificate can, indeed, be printed out at any county courthouse in the state.

The birthers argument isn't really about birth certificates. It's about whether or not a non-white can legitimately be President of the United States.

The fascinating thing about conspiracy theorists is that once they've glommed on to a conspiracy, then every attempt to disprove it is yet more evidence of the insidious pervasiveness of the conspiracy.
