Did I miss a memo?

Is this national antisemitism day? WTF.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 12:00 PM

Lot of Jew baiting today.

What you got here is a man with a life long hate on for a whole tribe of people who figured he was too old to have anything left to lose. Not much you can do about it. At his age he probably won't live long enough to be sentenced if it's a capital case. I hope he learns a little compassion in his next life. He sems to have missed that lesson in this one.

I always wonder what party these guys are affiliated with.

No doubt this guy is a voter. Maybe it's just me, but I'm guessing he's a Republican. Anyone know?

My good Republican friends always bristle when I opine that the party of racists is the Republican party. I think I'll send this story to them, if I can find out what party this guy belongs to.

Right-wing domestic terrorism

What with this and the murder of Dr. Tiller, you'd think that the Department of Homeland Security had the right idea in that report.

Will the Republicans wise up now??

Fat chance.

So long...

as salon can tie it to a white supremacist it's front page news. The muslim terrorist who murdered a US soldier got NO MENTION on salon on joan walsh's orders.

Both are horrible and both deserve attention.

Bad link?

I note that my browser can't find the server hosting the "Holy Western Empire" link in the story. I wonder if law enforcement took it down, or if it was just a bad link.

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 12:05 PM

So.

Does *this* qualify as domestic terrorism??

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 12:09 PM

I'm just betting...

That this particular terrorist won't be sent to Baghram or Gitmo, that he's been read his rights, hasn't been subjected to "harsh interrogation" and will be afforded all the protections available to him under the Constitution and laws of this nation and, upon conviction and sentencing, will serve out his time in a prison on American soil.

Mr. von brunn will keep Googlers busy for some time. Below is a post from May 25, 2009 that appears consistent with his way of thinking. The link is:

I will follow with a post from another thread. This is who the REAL BAD is:

WHY DON'T WE SEE ONE WORD OF THIS IN ANY OF THE MEDIA?

Love him or hate him, we all remember how the press went to great lengths to find out every move that President Bush made ... finally unable to come up with anything factual, so they created it! When their accusations were proven empty, they refused to retract one word of the fraud they perpetrated on the American people.

Dan Rather lost his job over fraudulent documents, because common people like you & me reached out and ripped CBS to pieces. They couldn't stand the loss of sponsors OR viewers!

The same Media went to great lengths to scandalize & destroy Sarah Palin. She maintains a 91% approval rating among voters from all parties, thanks to the Internet and investigative journalists who don't work for the mainstream media.

NOW ------- The Supreme Court has scheduled a Conference for Dec 5th about Obama's

U. S. Citizenship. STILL, not a word about any of this from the Media. If it were not for the Internet and talk radio, American citizens would become the servants of a dishonest & conspiratorial Media.

THINK ABOUT IT. IT DIDN'T USED TO BE THIS WAY! How much longer are we going to sit on our hands & say not a word?

AND DON'T THINK THE MEDIA SIMPLY DOESN'T KNOW - THEY ARE GETTING POUNDED WITH EMAILS ABOUT IT!!!

Obama could not get a simple security clearance with the information the government has on him ---- NOBODY COULD!

NOW he is privy to every top secret America has!

What is going on??? WHERE ARE THE GOOD PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY - ARE YOU OUT THERE???

Not a Member

Von Brunn claims to be a member of Mensa. I looked at the organization's online directory, available to members, and did not see either a VonBrunn or a VonBrunn. He is lying. Possibly he was once a member or he once qualified to be a member, but he is not a member now.

Right-wing domestic terrorism

This is just the beginning, I fear.

When the whole media and country

demonizes Israel, is it any surprise that people like this get up the nerve to take this kind of action? This is why a safe homeland is important, and I wish the media in this country would stop the attacks (only reporting on Israel's retaliations, not the horrible terrorism that leads up to it or the continued attacks. Only Israel is made to look evil for using violence, not those who use violence against her.

I'm just saying, antisemitism has risen exponentially in the past few years, in terms of what I've seen become acceptable speech in major cities- "jew you down", "jew-controlled", "you're a jew you own eveything"- all his conspiracy claims are commonly heard as acceptable... And the media, especially the few left-leaning outlets, are just as bad, but claiming to be on the side of 'peace'... a little hypocritical to codemn an antisemetic violent act when that's most of what these media do in a non-violent way.

And the acceptance of underlying antisemetism across the board leads to things like this.
