It's an OUTRAGE!

What did Pelosi know and when did she know it. That's what we need to investigate!

But don't investigate the people who actually ordered or carried out the torture she may or may not have known about. No sir!

A Democrat might have known about the torture and said nothing! That's the real news here!

Poor rhyming and meter

Besides the fact that the poem is just idiotic, it doesn't even succeed as a poem. It's completely lacking in flow.....

MIAMI – A Haitian man was charged with human smuggling Monday after federal authorities accused him of piloting a boat overloaded with migrants that capsized off Florida's coast, killing at least nine people.

Section 7202 of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 established the Human Smuggling and Trafficking Center. The Center will achieve greater integration and overall effectiveness in the U.S. Government's enforcement and other response efforts, and work with other governments to address the separate but related issues of alien smuggling, trafficking in persons, and criminal support of clandestine [] travel.

And the users of some sites have found the support of Jim Guest, a Republican state representative in Missouri, who wrote last year to his fellow legislators calling for an investigation into the claims of those who say they are being tortured by mind control.

“I’ve had enough calls, some from credible people — professors — being targeted by nonlethal weapons,” Mr. Guest said in a telephone interview, adding that nothing came of his request for a legislative investigation. “They become psychologically affected by it. They have trouble sleeping at night.”

He added: “I believe there are people who have been targeted by this.

With this equipment, you have to test it on somebody to see if it works.”

Misguided Mike

Some people look at the near-unlimited space of the internet and feel compelled to fill it with every asinine thought that wanders through their skull. For further examples, see Miss Kitty above (and me too, I guess).

it never boes well

for politicians when they lapse into bad poetry.

Anyone remember Patty Rowland's (wife of CT governor John Rowland) snarky little ode during hubby's corruption probe?

Typical Right Wing Nonesense

Ok, so Pelosi supposidly knew about one person that was waterboarded and she's the bad person. Yet Bush said "We don't torture," and that was ok, even though we did. This is such a joke. The right wants to have her lose her job for not complaining about something they felt was ok? This is crazy, but then again so is the right wing

Nice try

But John Ashcroft set the bar so high with "Let the Eagle Soar" that it'll be hard for anybody to top that effort.

Huckabee the Chucklehead-- A Poem in Verse

Here's a poem for Huckabee,

A Presidential wannabe,

In lieu of ideas,

He tried onomotopoieas,

As Nancy he tried to indict

But who bought it?

Only his pals on the Right.

Take the beam out ofyour eye Rev

Roaches will look for the slightest crack in the wall to reinfest a house, don't let them. Speaker Pelosi is a lightening rod to the thinly veiled mysogyny of Neo-Cons who have a strict definition of how a woman should be. It's time to clear the air and find who ordered the torture, who carried it out and who was supposed to report the crimes but didn't.Pelosi wasn't a heavy-weight back then and it's still not clear about what exactly she knew. Why don't I hear about people like the Reverand Governor Huckabee writing doggeral about Bush,Cheney and Rumsfeld? If anyone should resign they should, from the human race.

Huckabee is a tool

and a tool that writes pretty bad verse at that. While I also think there is much to be desired/admired about Nancy Pelosi these days, Huckabee is tacky without the awful poetry.

republican distractions

House speaker Nancy Pelosi has been attacked by the right since she helped orchestrated their loss in the House. Let's not forget the republicans were in the majority when this torture happened.

Republicans are just trying to distract the American public from the real culprit..Dick Cheney. Besides republicans were in the majority when the torture took place she had no control over it. The first Memos were written AFTER the CIA had already engaged in TORTURE, which they called 'enhanced' interrogations.

What is really funny about the right's constant attack on Rep Pelosi is she fits their 'perfect family' model much more closely than most of those involved in the Chrisitian rightward movement. She is still married to her first husband, raised her children before she got involved in politics, and she has been a long time practicing Catholic. Oh but she lives in San Francisco.

Republican can't get over they first the House, then the Senate and then the nation.
