Romney wins CPAC straw poll

An old conservative favorite came out on top at the conference, while attendees were more than a little skeptical of President Obama.

The letters thread is now closed.

Someone besides Romney.

As if we didn't have our fill of presidential politics last year

Great. Now let's have the caucuses and primaries by next spring, at the latest, so that we can have a three-year media bonanza leading up to the November 2012.

And also...

I suggest a Palin/Limbaugh or Limbaugh/Palin ticket, if only to see the steel cage Death Match between them over who gets top billing.

Let's focus on the current administration . . .

If Obama and Co can't manage to improve things in tangible ways that are felt by middle America (and take the credit for doing so), the Republicans will be able to run a Mr. Potato Head/Timothy McVeigh ticket in 2012 and still win.

The key to keep the Republican Party down is succeeding when the reins of power are in our hands.

Let them hobnob with their brother wizards all they want. With a little luck they'll go so wacky in their insular little echo chamber that no one will want to touch them.

How to pick a winner...

In the midst of an epic economic crisis, who looks better?

Romney wins CPAC straw poll

If the Dow continues to plunge it won't matter whether its Jindal, Romney or anyone else. Americans will not stand by

and watch their 401K's go down the drain much longer. Obama's

reckless, wasteful spending is a concern of many Americans, as

reflected by the Dow.
