Joe the Plumber: "I think media should be abolished from reporting"

In Israel, the newly minted reporter calls for an end to war reporting and a return to good old-fashioned propaganda.

". . . media should be abolished from reporting" --

Isn't "Joe the Plumber" in Israel as . . . um . . . media to . . . um . . . do reporting?

I wish this ass would use his actual name -- Sam -- instead of ruining the name "Joe," and my legitimately credible image with it.

Ignore this skinhead --

At least until he, as gung-ho "pro-troops", enlists and actually sees war, instead of jabbering about WW I and WW II Hollywood propaganda films.

"Gump" has got to be embarrassed by being surpassed by this dumb-ass retard.

Come home, Joe

You're a journalist. Worst, you are a journalist who hasn't a clue. So come home and stop reporting.

Joe the Idiot

If ignorance is bliss, this guy is in high heaven. If this is his take on reporting, no wonder he's been such a "shitty" non-licensed, unemployed plumber. Crack reporting from the far rear echelon; he's not a reporter, he's a propagandist, probably a coward too. Good take on it, Alex. Call this useless dude for what he is, a "propagandist" political whore.

In my day militarily his kind were called REMs, "Rear-Echelon Mother______".

Look who is paying the tab for Joe

This guy is being paid by Roger L. Simon from Pajamas Media, a Republican web cover site, same old Swift Boat Tactics as they used on Kerry. Set this dummy up and use his as a tool to attack the media. Republicans - Cancer - same thing. They never stop the attack to destroy anyone that might hurt their War profits.

absolute truth

Bravo, Joe, bravo! You have said what I long to say to the media. Learn the facts before you judge. A. Koppelman calls the restrictive measure 'good old-fashioned propaganda'. It is not. It is a matter of understanding the complexity of events. Does AK believe that Israel desires constant missiles or continuing war? Even those who do take the time to look into a matter broadly cannot always come down clearly on one side - yet, there are only two choices - to act or not to act.

Keep talking, Joe

Kind of makes you miss Jeff Gannon, eh? My fervent hope is that this train wreck of a guy runs for Senate or some other high profile position. The best thing for Democrats is for the Republicans to keep presenting gibbering buffoons like Joe and Palin as the face of conservatism.

Joe

Joe, you're right. Go home and get a wrench back in your hand.

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 08:42 AM

You betcha, Joe!

Too bad we're just finding out about Joe. He could have been Press Secretary for Bush. I think he has a good understanding of the Republican message and the Bush style of delivery. If he had his way, we wouldn't have to worry about anything; we wouldn't know anything to worry about!

Welcome to Plumber/Palin Campaign Headquarters

Now, kids, I want you to go into Mommy's purse -- that's right, the big purple one -- and dig around until you find Mommy's CHECKBOOK!

Next, make out a nice check to your favorite old uncle DoctorGreeves here at the Plumber/Palin Headquarters for $500. Oh, heck, why not just add some zeros, like your nice Uncle Henry Paulson does?

Now put the check in an envelope and send it to the secret address I gave you yesterday while Mommy was taking a shower.

You're all some great kids, you know it? And as soon as Mommy's check comes, we'll outlaw reporters forever!

Ernie Pyle...

...Must be spinning in his grave. Does anyone want to start a pool on when this fool will be fragged by his fellow reporters?

Joe the Plumber: "I think media should be abolished from reporting"

I really hate to say it, but Salon just proved his point...you printed his story.

Tuesday, January 13, 2009 08:13 AM

Yo, Joe!

You're even dumber than you look, man.

Why not think about getting a job for which you're qualified? Maybe one that involves pipes and tools and dirt.

But you'll want to get a license, first.

JTS

Does PlumberBoy fancy himself Benjamin Disraeli 2.0? Never mind, that would be assuming he had any semblance of intelligence.

He isn't Joe the Plumber -- he's Joe the Shlemiel.

The Dumping down of America . . . .

Yes, this is what America needs. More people like Palin, and good ol' Joe with IQ's of 100 or less running everything. Don't think for yourself, please. Let Jesus do it. Get out of bed every day, throw salt over your shoulder and say "Satan get behind me". I'm for Palin and Joe toilet paper if "Cafe Press" will distribute it.

In all seriousness I'm trying to understand the idiocy...

of how he got himself to the point of being in Isreal to report war/conflict news and telling the world to NOT to read said news.

The easy assumption is he is a schill for right-wing media and they have filled his head (and all the other sheep) with misinformation. But the real kicker is they let him in on the modus operandi of avoiding the truth and he then goes and spouts that to the world.

The right wing is astonishing in its idiocy and yet is what is more appalling is how its followers still don't get it.

Monday, January 12, 2009 09:14 PM

For decades I have been trying to find a way to shame people away from the Republican side. Finally I got one.

Thank you Joe The Plumber.

Monday, January 12, 2009 03:19 PM

And you are continuing to cover this idiot,

why exactly? I want him gone, not a media superstar. Enough. Please.

Monday, January 12, 2009 01:46 PM

What a TOOL!!!!

How can we make this any more comical?! The sad part is that he is playing at "journalism" and getting a platform. If he wants to opine on the situation there fine - by all means - go for it! ...but being touted as Journalist is sacrilege!!

Monday, January 12, 2009 01:39 PM

@Susan Wood, I'd take that Paglia bet, but...

It's Joe the Plumber, not Joanne the Plumber...

More exposure...please

A recap of how exposure does work to expose:

1st exposure: Joe the Plumber seemed a thoughtful and concerned citizen, genuinely concerned about the effects of Obama's tax plan on his life.

2nd exposure: Joe was used shamelessly by McCain, who invoked his name 20 or more times in a presidential debate.

3rd exposure: We found out that Joe the Plumber was not really a licensed plumber at all, and in fact was in no danger of being taxed at 250K. Fabulous.

4th exposure: We found out that the right-wing chirp machine would still use Joe despite revelations that he is an absolute fraud...oh, the pageantry!

5th exposure: We found out that backwoods conservative Joe is truly concerned with how Israel is treated. Which is so effing funny...all hard-core anti-Semites don't know whether to shit or go shopping...truly rich!

6th exposure: Joe shows up on every half-assed right wing news outlet as if he has a worthy opinion...desperation is a cheap cologne! Celebrity trumps...well, everything!

7th exposure: Joe is revealed even further as a complete idiot and unintentional stand-up comic. How does he think the news reals he celebrates got to our movie theaters in the first place? Ummm, reporters Joe...like you *cough*

Keep the light on him...it's been fantastic so far, as it usually is, for revealing interesting things for those of us who are qualified homo sapiens.
