Take this as a lesson, Salonistas

Make your big political moves early, during your 30s and 40s. By the time you reach 60, you will have accumulated convoluted entanglements that can bring you down. Just silly things can bring you down.

Silliness is a basic human characteristic. By age 50, silliness reaches a critical mass. If you already are in office by that age, you are golden. If not, you will be too silly for America. Not your fault, just Human Nature.
