Why Rudy Giuliani should be Senator, by Rudy Giuliani

9-11!

Monday, January 5, 2009 03:58 PM

a noun, a verb

but no mention of "9/11"? I don't think the Mayor is finished speaking yet.

Monday, January 5, 2009 04:07 PM

I'm not sure who he wants to get the office

Jewel?

Yanni?

It can't be Jewel y Yanni; they only allow one...

Tongue Tied?

We haven't heard the last from Rudy on this subject.....not by a long shot.

My guess is still that he runs for gov. next cycle under his favorite umbrella...911...

He's bound to win something one of these days. :-)

Deep understanding

the only deep understanding Benito has is of deep paranoia and psychotic self aggrandizing.

Monday, January 5, 2009 04:57 PM

I'm sure we could

come up with a list of 911 reasons why he shouldn't be senator.

Monday, January 5, 2009 05:15 PM

Maybe he's been going to therapy to kick the 9/11 habit.

Or maybe he's changed his middle name to "9/11" so he doesn't need to repeat himself anymore.

What a tool.

Really.

Goodby Rudy

Goodby Rudy. "Status Quo is so very old news. You and your ideas are prohibiting progress.

Carolyn Kenney is an ideal canditate for this Senate seat. The country does not need your opinion as to what qualifications anyone should have for anything. You did not display any special qualities during the 911 episode.

Let's encourage Governor Patterson to appoint Caroline Kennedy as the next Senator of New York. This will be good for the Country as well as the World.

A Noun, a Verb and 9/11

Well, at least he is not waiting for the Florida Primary.

I cannot imagine that a searingly close look at his record as Mayor will reveal a consistent, steady, determined administrator and advocate. the NYT did a devastating series on the issues of internal communications systems that confounded 9/11 exponentially, and those issues remained unaddressed by the end of his administration, despite the glowing opportunity he had to make sweeping changes.

His personal life, whilst amusing in NYC, will be unlikely to play in Utica, where his current wife's idiosyncratic nouveau riche arrogance will not truly express a compelling understanding of the issues.

It must be hell to be from NYC

After all, our Governor, our Attorney General, the leadership in both chambers of the Legislature, and our Senator are all from New York City. (The Senator who is being replaced lives 15 miles outside of the city.) Rudy's right - they are obviously under-represented in our government.

carolyn maloney OR caroline kennedy - pick one or the other , please , gov patterson !

who gave his endorsement for John Mc cain for president?

before mc jerk got the repug nomination, whom was for romney?

whom helped to reduce ' rent control' laws in new york city when mayor; catering to the rich, investment banker slumlords out to make money? leaving more people homeless on the streets because mc donald's just does not pay a high enough wage to afford rents of over $1,000 a mth?

anyone say RUDY GUILIANI ?

his good sides> 1. he did clean up the city's crime problem [to the point of having arrested by police everybody whom either pissed on the sidewalks- because they couldn't afford to be a " customer" so to use restaurant bathrooms; as well as arrest every pot smoker/ jamaican ganja dealer in central park whom fit the " profile" ]

2. he did go after the many corrupt police in the NYPD as well. this as well as crack down on mafia-run garbage haulers, exception, rudy's favorite- waste management, inc. for whom he secured many citywide contracts!

3. he is pro choice [bad side being anti-gay marriage]but who the fuck cares if he is or not- he is still to the right of center and showed it by endorsing both mc cain and moose-cherry.

so......1.carolyn maloney - the NOW official endorsed feminist woman

or 2. caroline kennedy- pro choice and a feminist also. supports all families gay and heterosexual!

JUST SAY NO TO RUDY!

Faghettabotit!

This man is a joke. He does not understand relationships, certainly not that of a community organizer and the mayor. He has lost all credibility and belongs to the has beens.

I would not elect him dog catcher.

Or here's a stab in the dark: maybe Dinkins?

But Koch is likely the exact person Guliani was thinking of. Hahaha. I should thank that putz as much as you for my first good laugh of the New Year. Nice article, Alex. :) Keep it up.
