Romney gearing up for 2012?

Mitt Romney, who came up short in his race for the Republican presidential nomination this year, appears to be preparing for another run.

Makes Sense

I mean, he was #2 this year, won a bunch of states, and has the cash to pay for his own campaign. Sure, he's a Mormon but look how excited Republicans got over a non-denominational governor of Nowheresville who was about as distant from "Low Taxes/Low Spending" as you can get.

All underwear, all the time

All right! Now we have magic underwear to go with expensive underwear and transgender underwear. Who's next?

I would laugh at the state of the GOP, but the last time I laughed about the clowns they put up was 1988. Now I just worry about the lack of intelligence in the American electorate.

And the Mormons now have to decide

Give their money to the Romney campaign or more millions to deny rights to homosexuals. Feeding the hungry and helping the poor aren't even in the running for the church, I guess.

Let's just hope that the Mormon Church becomes a HUGE albatross around his neck. Unless of course its leader has another "revelation" and learns that God now approves of same-sex marriage and that Blacks are not an inferior race any more. They are very good at changing the rules when it is politically expedient.

Go for it!

Romney/Palin '08!

Yeah, but she was a "real" christian! Which is more important then actual policy!

Free and Strong America

The Globe found, though, that "only 12 percent of the money has been spent distributing checks to Romney's fellow Republicans around the country."

Well, it's clear that he's still just as duplicitous as he was when he was governor of Massachusetts. There's no doubt that he fits right in with the modern Republican Party.

Yippee! The fun has begun!

What could be more fun than watching the heir to the Lee Atwater playbook sink lipsticky pitbull teeth into Mitt and other Republicans and shake the stuff out of them in the 2012 primaries?

What could be more fun than watching Mitt and other Republicans try to be dignified getting the beschmutz'd Republican brand out of the doghouse while trying to put the pitbull in the doghouse?

"Real Americans", keep practicing those growls and howls you made at your 2008 campaign rallies, it'll soon be time to go a-ratting once again!

I love it!

Spend, Mitt! Spend spend spend!

An Urgent Plea

Can we have a little relief from Campaign 2012 for just a little while? Please? The country really needs an election time-out.

Mitt has zero chance

Christian fundamentalists will NEVER tolerate a Mormon presidential nominee in the Republican Party. Ever.

Mr. Romney is wasting his time.

@Irving 143

Thank You ...really thank you. Lets see first if the country makes it another 4 years.

I think he has a strong chance

The fundie Christian primary vote will be split multiple ways by Palin, Jindal and maybe Huckabee. If other Republicans who care more about fiscal issues and less about moral ones all go with Romney, he wins the nomination.

Splitting the Fundamentalist vote

No. That will not happen. They may split, but the Fundamentalists still have a 100% veto on Republican Party Presidential nominees. And that veto will be applied.

Mitt will not be nominated for President by the Republicans because he is a Mormon.
